this page contains an unspecified degree of spoilers!
please dont spoiler anything including plot, areas, bosses, and classes that i havent met yet! :) thanks!
I try to keep this page as spoiler free as I can.
heres the encounters ive had and the areas ive already been to. the
classes ive unlocked and how i feel about each
very basic, good damage dealer, good abilities imo :) i like using fighters.
very hit or miss for me.
i love the some of the active abilities and generally enjoy the distanced damage output, but the familiar centric abilities kind of annoy me.
im not a familiar- or specifically ai controlled ally- enjoyer because they can disrupt plans and stand in the way.
though flea shot is a nice attack, since the fleas dont stick around long and arent right in front of your paws.
ohh cleric my beloved.
essential on any run, with the same formula i aim for every time: a way to remove debuffs, a way to revive (and preferably remove injuries as well).
i dont care much for the alpha gimmick, i tend to prioritise self healing and ways to either heal from a distance or bridge that gap quickly.
i LOVE and will almost always pick up healing dash. movement option, healing, AND stats up? dont mind if i do!!
ironically, clerics arent the most fun and engaging class to me, but theyre too necessary to skip out on.
tanks are unreliable to me.
i dont care about their rock abilities at all and i avoid tanks often enough i cant even remember my qualms with them, lol
unlockable classes and therefore somewhat spoiler-y
extremely hit or miss.
i love the variety in elements, and the ability to teleport. but far too often, the passive abilities are useless to me.
i also remember getting unlucky with active abilities and finding my mage pretty much worthless.
which sucks, because the further i get in this game, the more i learn to value controlling the elements and field effects.
great for money, okay overall.
i like their mobility and some of the easily achievable synergies between passive and active abilities.
their low health sucks early on but eventually they become quite valuable.
necromancer my beloathed. oh how i hate you.
for some reason i just cant get along with how necromancers work. to be fair, i havent used them much either.
they simply dont fit my playstyle and the team constellations i build, i just prioritise other classes much more.
i love tinkerers!!! i could gush about tinkerers all day (/exaggarating).
as far as i understand, their damage doesnt scale with strenght nor dexterity? so theyre perfect for weaker cats.
i love their weapon gimmick, and the ability to increase ones weapon damage has often saved my ass from boss fights that i wouldnt have been able to win otherwise.
psychics are kind of hit or miss.
i like them a lot, especially since ive used them a lot recently. the ability to attack from anywhere is quite valuable.
however, theyre not guaranteed to develop good synergies or useful abilities, and they lack the damage output to carry their weight at times.
i want to love you so bad, but you make it so hard
druid, you are so close to perfection. transforming into different types of meelee fighter is so incredibly sexy, so why do you try to mix that with familiar perks???
on the other hand, boosting the crow and other familiars (that you control!!! /positive) is also sexy, i enjoy the additional team members a lot.
but you just cant stick to one or the other.
your abilities constantly clash with the unlucky rng that blocks me from unlocking your true potential...
oh druid, you could be my favorite class, we could have been so good together...
classes ive unlocked and havent listed yet: butcherer, jester, monk
return to chaotic system
